SwissHacks 2026 marks the next milestone in the evolution of Switzerland’s premier government-backed hackathon. Following the success of SwissHacks 2024 and 2025, we are preparing an even more impactful event in 2026.
SwissHacks 2026 is an immersive 48-hour experience where diverse talent — from students to seasoned professionals — joins forces with industry-leading organizations to tackle the most pressing challenges in the financial sector. Initiated by the State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) and powered by Tenity, this edition sharpens its focus on developing solutions that are not only innovative but scalable — providing participants with a unique opportunity to experiment, prototype, and validate frontier technologies in real-world financial use cases.

During the Hackathon, you can learn new skills from your peers as well as through the provided workshops: From ideation to prototyping and pitching, our carefully curated sessions will broaden your skill set.
Forge valuable connections with fellow Hackathon participants, representatives from the Hackathon Partners, Mentors, Jury members, and the broader Financial Innovation Ecosystem to grow your personal and professional network.
Elevate your innovation journey by competing for fantastic prizes: Stand a chance to showcase your idea at an exclusive celebration & networking evening, secure a ticket to the Selection process stage 2 of the upcoming Tenity Accelerator program, and score a top-notch tech item.
Besides working hard on your idea and prototype, the side program and activities will make sure you have an unforgettable experience.

Thanks to the Swiss Hacks partners, admission to the Hackathon is free. We also provide food and drinks for the whole weekend.
Application deadline is on 17th of March, 12:00 am CET. We will evaluate applications on a rolling basis and inform all applicants by latest 30th March about the final decision.
You do not need a team to apply to SwissHacks. We will host a team matching session to bring together teams with a diverse skillset. However, we do also accept team applications (max. 5 people).
SwissHacks is a physical event in Zurich, Switzerland, with in person input sessions, meetings with sponsors and mentorship opportunities. However you do not need to be on site all 48 hours.
